Currently living in Merseyside, Kathryn is originally from North Wales. During the day she is lucky enough to teach the sharpest of teenagers and during the evening, she writes picture books for the youngest of readers. Her stories reflect her love of language along with her playful and wicked sense of humour. In her eyes, no one is too old to enjoy a children’s story and she hopes to inspire and entertain both young and old, for generations to come.

Apart from reading and writing, she also enjoys stomping in sand dunes, exploring weird and wonderful places, cuddles with the family border terrorist, Wellington, and controversially eating chocolate fresh from the fridge. Kathryn is also a firm believer that biscuits must come in threes (four to be on the safe side if dunking in tea).
